Delightfully Fancy
This past Friday evening I had the pleasure of meeting Crystal, the author of Pink Lucy. I've followed her blog for about five years now. We've exchanged blog comments and emails (she was especially comforting and sweet to me when my dog passed away) but we've never met. Despite the fact that we live only about twenty minutes from each other. We recently discovered that she drives by my house often!
A few weeks ago I saw a link to her new website, Delightfully Fancy and went to check it out. I have to tell you I was "delighted" by what I found on this site. Crystal has created some of the most adorable Christmas tree ornaments I've ever seen. And they are all hand painted, original creations. I am SO impressed by the ornaments and Crystal's talent.
As I was checking out the Delightfully Fancy site, I found one that I HAD to order for a friend. It was absolutely perfect for her. So I emailed Crystal and ordered it. A couple of weeks later she emailed me to let me know it was ready and we made arrangements to meet.
When we met it was like we'd known each other for years. She is just as sweet and funny in person as she is on her blog. We talked for about 30 minutes and could have chatted much longer but she had to go pick up her husband from work - as it was she was about 45 minutes late! Sorry Daniel!
Before she left she handed me this adorable box that is stamped with the DF logo - very pretty...
Here are pictures of the front and back of the ornament. The pictures really don't do it justice. The colors are very bright and the painting is perfect! And the little poof on top - too cute!!
In the box was a business card with Crystal's contact information.
These ornaments are so cute! If you are looking for something adorable for your own tree or for a one of a kind present for someone else go visit Delightfully Fancy and then contact Crystal. You will not be disappointed.
P.S. This was not a paid post. Just the ramblings of a very satisfied customer! And yes, the ornament is in my coffee maker in the photos. Hey, it worked!
